IT engineer for Smart Grid project

Estabanell Energia, a DSO located in Granollers, is seeking for an IT professional for the development of its Smart Metering project.
The candidate will become member of a multidisciplinary team, responsible for the design, deployment and maintenance of a Smart Metering system, aimed at being the basis of a regional Smart Grid.
Integrated in the IT department of the company, he or she will be responsible for the IT perspective of the Smart Metering project, developing the systems, network and software.
The profile must show skills both in systems and programming,
Native Catalan and Spanish, fluent in English, driving license and availability for travelling are requested.

EXPERIENCE
Proved experience in communication standards based in TCP/IP, Windows and Linux system administration, LAN and WAN networks, Monitoring systems: mrtg, snmp and nagios.

Solid knowledge of programming in c#, .net remoting, web services., SQL, relational data bases and SourceSafe.

ADDED VALUE
Experience in Smart Grid, SCADA, SGBD: Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server. GIS systems, .Net Compact Framework,. ASP,. NET, Linux: iptables, apache, openssl, mono, PCL Communication ( Xip DS2)
